Part 1: Your Account & Services
You are required to provide correct and up to date account information to use Ho-ost. If you are suspected of using false account information, your services will suspended and you will be required to verify your identity. You must be at least 18 or older to use Ho-ost. Before any services are provisioned, your account information will be checked. Suspected fraudulent orders will be denied. To update account information you need to create a support ticket for approval, and justify your request. You may only have one personal Ho-ost account. You may not sell or transfer your Ho-ost account. Your account information must match the information provided to our payment processor or you will be asked to confirm your identity with a government id card. By using our services, you must comply with the local laws in relation to the services location. We will cooperate with law enforcement if you are found to have broken the law via our service.
You can request cancellation via our client panel either for immediate or end of the billing period. This is irreversible and your service will be terminated when processed.
We take your service offline or automatically redirect your website to a suspension notice and revoke all access to your data until the suspension has been resolved.
We remove all related service data and backups, cancel your automatic invoices and resources are released back into stock for future customers. This is irreversible.
Client Area Credits:
You may deposit credit to pay for invoices or you may be awarded it for overpayment or sla. Non-transferable. You agree to forfeit any credits if your account is closed.
We take an automated backup of our shared and reseller services weekly and retain a copy for up to three months. We do not backup our vps under any circumstances.
Part 2: Payments & Processors
You agree to provide Ho-ost with the appropriate payment to for any services you have purchased in advance of the period of which your services are active for. You agree that until cancelled, your services will continue to be billed on a recurring basis, including subscriptions with our linked payment processors, which are your responsibility to cancel or amend when necessary. Ho-ost will automatically generate an invoice prior to your due date, and you have until the due date to make payment. Failure to make payment on time will result in automatic account suspension and gives Ho-ost the right to terminate your account at any time.
Chargebacks and disputes will result in suspension of all services on the account and until the dispute is resolved, you will be prohibited from placing new orders. By opening a chargeback or dispute you agree that your services may be terminated without compensation, and that your details may be forwarded to the appropriate collection agency to collect outstanding payments.
Part 3: Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what can and can't be done using your Ho-ost shared hosting account, virtual server, or reseller account. In the case of a reseller account, the following rules will apply to your clients as well. You are responsible for following these rules.
To upload files to our services, you agree that you have ownership, or permission of the owner to distribute the content. We are DMCA compliant and takedown requests will be handled appropriately. Pornography will be permitted on our Shared Hosting services, so long as it complies with United States and United Kingdom law. All pornography must comply with 18 U.S. Code 2257, must depict consenting adults, and must not depict any animals. Any violation of these provisions will be forwarded to the applicable law enforcement agencies.
You may not use Ho-ost services for illegal activities, including but not limited to softwares related to or for the purpose of; hacking, cracking, DoS, DDoS attacks, TOR or anything otherwise illegal in the location of said service. Ho-ost does not allow the use of our services for bitcoin or cryptocurrency pools or related softwares. Ho-ost Virtual Private Servers are subject to a 75% CPU usage limitation and will be automatically shutdown if breached. You will be notified via support ticket if found to be using forbidden software or and your service terminated.
Part 4: Service Level Agreement
Ho-ost offers a 99.95% uptime guarantee on all services. This Service Level Agreement will clarify what downtime can occur and what's eligible for compensation. Scheduled maintenance is necessary in the hosting industry to perform hardware and software upgrades as well as general maintenance. In the event that we need to take our network offline, you will be notified via email. Scheduled downtime is not applicable for compensation. If you have downtime due to:
This includes any configuration settings edited and/or applied to our servers by either a) Ho-ost or b) Our service provider(s)
This includes all routers, switches and cables in to the data center your service is located.
This includes heat protection and power supplies in the data center your service is located.
Ho-ost is prepared to compensate you with a store credit allowance of 10% for each hour of downtime. We do not offer SLA credit if your specific service is the victim of a DDoS attack. To be eligible for credit, you must open a support ticket including your service information and your request for compensation. If you're eligible you should appropriate credit within 48 hours.
Part 5: Money Back Guarantee
Ho-ost will provide a refund if you are not completely satisfied, or have changed your mind within 30 days. Our money back guarantee is only eligible for our shared hosting, reseller hosting & virtual servers. Our money back guarantee does not cover additional IP addresses, domain registrations, software licenses or any other add-ons Ho-ost provides.
